According to photo contest winner, Tammy Schroeder of Sterling, “This was one of the first pictures I took when I got a new digital camera a couple of years ago. It was dusk and I took several, mostly trying to get a good silhouette picture. I did shoot some with a flash but it wasn’t until I got home and put the photos on the computer that I noticed the writing on the windmill that I hadn’t seen in the darkness. I knew right away it was better than the silhouette shots.”
